Gandhinagar-Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is visiting Gujarat, took part in the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan in Gandhi Nagar

The 29th Biennial Conference of the All India Primary Teachers' Federation is called Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan. 'Teachers are at the Heart of Transforming Education' is the conference's theme.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office, he would inaugurate and lay the foundation stone  for many projects totaling about Rs 4400 crores in Gandhinagar at midday after the adhiveshan.
The Prime Misnter  will also visit Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT city).

During the visit, PM  will review the status of various ongoing projects at GIFT City. An interaction with GIFT IFSC companies will also take place to understand their experience and future plans in GIFT City. The Automated Waste Collection Segregation Plant and Underground Utility Tunnel are among the important infrastructural facilities that the Prime Minister will tour while in the city, according to the official release.

On this occasion, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) recipients will also receive the keys to their homes from PM Modi. "The Prime Minister will also participate in Gruh Pravesh of around 19,000 residences built under the programme, as well as inaugurate and lay the cornerstone for PMAY (rural and urban) projects. The recipients of the programme will receive keys from him during the presentation. The statement stated that the approximate total cost of these projects was Rs. 1950 crores.

He will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for development projects totaling more than Rs 2450 crores in Gandhinagar. Projects from the departments of urban development, water supply, roads and transportation, and mines and minerals are among them, it was noted.

The expansion of multi-village drinking water supply systems in the Banaskantha district, a river overbridge in Ahmedabad, a drainage collection network at Naroda GIDC, sewage treatment facilities in Mehsana and Ahmedabad, an auditorium in Dahegam, among other projects, are among those being launched. According to the official statement, among the projects whose foundation stone would be laid are bulk pipeline projects in the Junagadh district, the expansion of water supply plans in the Gandhinagar district, the building of flyover bridges, new water distribution stations and various town planning roads.
