Bangalore: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding a mega roadshow in Bangalore toda, May 6, during the last leg of the campaigning for the Karnataka Assembly elections. The state will go to polls on May 10 and the votes will be counted on May 13.

On both sides of the road where the Prime Minister's cavalcade is moving during the roadshow, which spans approximately 26 kilometres and covers roughly 13 constituencies, there are lines of people waiting to see the Prime Minister.

PM Modi acknowledged the throng by waving his hands while riding on the top of a truck. People also showered flower petals on Prime Minister.

PM Modi will conduct four public gatherings this weekend in addition to two massive road shows. The first roadshow will cover a distance of about  8 miles, while the second would cover a distance of 30 kilometres.

Also, the Prime Minster will speak at four public gatherings on May 7 at various locations around the state. Prior to that, he conducted a roadshow in Bangalroe that spanned five km and one in Mysore on April 30 that attracted a sizable crowd.

The Prime Minister attended a massive roadshow in Kalaburagi earlier on Tuesday.

The BJP has expressed confidence in maintaining power in the state for another term with a landslide vote.

Due to PM Modi's roadshow NEET exams time changed: In view of NEET examinations, the Karnataka BJP made changes in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 2-day roadshow in Bangalore, ahead of the Assembly polls in the state, by scheduling an extensive event on May 6 and a shorter one on May 7, Union Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje said on Friday.
