New Delhi: Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of the major public sector banks, can soon give good news to its customers. Actually, PNB is in the process of changing the transaction limit from a debit card. PNB has also given indications regarding this. The bank has issued a notice on its website that dear customers, the bank will soon change the transaction limit for transactions with high-end variant debit cards.

According to PNB, the ATM withdrawal limit for all platinum variants of MasterCard, RuPay and Visa Gold Debit cards may be increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,00,000 per day. At the same time, customers can transact up to Rs 3,00,000 on POS instead of Rs 1,25,000 per day. PNB has said that the ATM cash withdrawal limit for RuPay Select and Visa Signature Debit cards will be increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,50,000. The daily limit for POS transactions for these cards will be increased from Rs 1,25,000 to Rs 5,00,000.

PNB has said in a statement that customers are advised to take advantage of the change in transaction limits through internet banking, mobile banking app, PNB ATM, IVR, or by visiting the base branch. Along with this, PNB asked its customers regarding card safety that they should not share personal details related to their debit card, credit card, and bank account with anyone. Actually, many times cybercriminals call customers and get their personal information by pretending to increase the credit card limit. After this, they illegally withdraw money from the customers' accounts.
