New Delhi: Fugitive businessman Mehul Chouksi wanted in connection with the Embezzlement of Rs 13,500 crore of Punjab National Bank (PNB), has been traced to Dominica and arrested by the local police. Let us tell you that a few days ago Chouksi disappeared from Antigua and Barbuda. Dominica is a small island nation in the Caribbean Sea.

Antigua police have contacted police in Dominica for his custody. Mehul Choksi was traced in Dominica after Interpol sent a 'yellow corner' notice. According to reports, sources say Interpol has informed CBI that Mehul Choksi has been traced and arrested in Dominica. He reached Dominica from Antigua and Barbuda via choksi boat. On the other hand, Dominica has agreed to extradite Mehul Choksi to India, which has increased the possibility of bringing the fugitive businessman to India.

"Dominica (to the repatriation of Mehul Choksi) has agreed," Antigua PM Gaston Brown said in an interview to state-run news agency ANI. "We will not accept that back, the Dominican Government and the law enforcement are cooperating, and we have informed the Government of India to take it away".
