In Uttar Pradesh, a major clash has been held between police and miscreants in Rae Bareli district. During the encounter, a crook was injured by a police bullet who has been taken into custody. However, one of his companions managed to escape in the encounter. The arrested miscreant is said to be 'Supari' killer. A number of cases of killing and looting have been registered in Lucknow against him in 2014.
On December 21, the miscreants killed a businessman with bullets near Nihastha at Simri Chouraha in Khiro police station area. The trader was shot 4 bullets. The accused in the case were running out of police custody. A vehicle checking campaign has been launched by SOG Incharge Amaresh Tripathi and Khiro Thana Incharge Rajesh Singh near Haripur on the late-night Nihasthan Marg. In the meantime, the police indicated that the suspected bike riders were stopped. The bike riders had started firing at the police. In response, the police also attacked with bullets. The police shot at the foot of Pintu alias Ramzan Siddiqui, who was driving the bike, causing him to fall. His companion has taken advantage of darkness and escaped. The injured Pintu described the absconding companion as Bhuchal Singh alias Dilawar Singh.
The injured crook is a resident of Matiha in Kotwali Nagar area of Pintu Rae Bareli. Ramzan also has a very old criminal history. Police said that Pintu had also shot dead a property dealer from Krishna Nagar resident in Lucknow in 2014. At present, the crook has been admitted to the District hospital in the injured State.
