Ranchi: The Congress on Sunday suspended three Jharkhand MLAs from whom a huge amount of money was seized in Howrah, West Bengal. Meanwhile, the police have also arrested these MLAs. The police arrested these 3 Congress MLAs after a long interrogation. Let us inform you that after the arrest of 3 MLAs, Congress had accused the BJP of trying to topple its coalition government with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in Jharkhand.

It may be noted that while addressing the press conference at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters, the party's Jharkhand in-charge Avinash Pandey reported that Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has suspended the three MLAs with immediate effect. Let us inform you that after receiving special input, the police stopped an SUV on Saturday, in which Congress MLA Irfan Ansari, Rajesh Kachhap and Naman Bixal were travelling on Kongari National Highway-16 in Ranihati, Howrah and a huge amount of money was found in the vehicle.

Police said that apart from the MLAs, two other people were also sitting in the SUV. Along with the Congress's election symbol, 'MLA Jamtara Jharkhand' was written on the board of this car. It is worth noting that Irfan Ansari is an MLA from Jamtara, while Rajesh Kachhap is an MLA from Khijri and Bixal Kongari Simdega Kolebira in Ranchi city.
