Increased rights but reduced: Now many officers of IPS cadre will be posted in a district. This is the specialty of the police commissioner system. A wave of happiness ranged from police officers to personnel with the introduction of this system. They are also discussing about their increased rights. In the midst of all this, there is satisfaction among the officers of the PPS cadre that they are feeling short of their stature and increase in authority. Till now, 2 or 3 IPS officers have been posted as ASP below SSP in Lucknow. There will be 13 IPS officers in the district including ADG and 2 IGs.
