Big revelation on JNU violence, police did not get CCTV footage of January 3

New Delhi: The CCTV footage of the 3 January 2020 has not yet been received by the Delhi Police in the JNU violence case. Where on January 3, 2020, student union president Aashi Ghosh and other make accusation of sabotage, there are no CCTV cameras installed. According to the crime branch officials, the vandalism took place at the back side of the server room, while CCTV cameras were installed at the front. The head of the crime branch's SIT, Dr. Joy Turkey, said that the registration was being opposed from October 28. On January 3, student union president Aishi Ghosh reached the server room with some colleagues and ransacked. The students pushed with the security guard. On the complaint of JNU administration on this, FIR number three was registered in Vasant Kunj (North) police station.

It is also being said that now the JNU administration is refusing to give a complaint to the police on 3 January 2020. According to the Crime Branch officials, the police have not found any evidence of sabotage on 3 January 2020. The SIT is now ascertaining from the data received from the server that on January 4 and 5, which CCTV cameras installed in JNU were working and which were not. Where SIT gets CCTV footage of JNU gates on 5 January, the police will get a lot of evidence. It will be easy to know from which gate, how and at what time did the outside youth go inside JNU.

Delhi Police questioned two witness students on Wednesday, 22 January 2020, when they refused to identify any accused in the violence case. It is being said that the SIT has not been able to trace the masked girl identified by police as Komal Sharma in the viral video on social media.
