In fact, the history-sheeter in this video has been arrested by Jogeshwari police.

The history sheeter's name is Danish Sheikh who has several other charges including an attempt to murder. In this case, you can see senior inspector Mahendra Narlikar in the video who is feeding cake to the criminal wearing a police uniform. The video is said to be from a housing society. When asked about this, Mahendra Narlikar said, 'This is an old video. When he went to the housing society, the people asked me to come to the society office. I didn't know Danish was standing there with the cake.'

After the case came to light, there has been a lot of police brutality on social media. DCP Mahesh Reddy has now ordered an inquiry into the matter.
