Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha is reported to be under the ambit of the law in the wake of a fraud case. A case was registered against the actress by an event organiser in Delhi last year and a team of Uttar Pradesh police officials arrived at Sonakshi's residence in Mumbai on Thursday to record Sonakshi's statement on the same complaint but they had not met her at home. The police team then met her again.

Sonakshi was supposed to perform on a show, but she did not do so later. Sonakshi reportedly received Rs 32 lakh as a booking amount for the show.
