Dehradun: Amid a political storm over former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat's tweet, the ruling BJP in the state got an excuse to target Congress factionalism. The party said Uttarakhand Congress is also on the path of Punjab Congress. A Captain Amarendra Singh may also be born in Uttarakhand. Not only that, party state president Madan Kaushik took a dig at the Congress faction saying that there have been 11 MLAs and 10 factions in the last five years. However, he later added that it was an internal matter of the Congress. But he did not shy away from attacking the Congress camp. Kaushik, the opposition's job outside the Assembly is to raise the voice of the people, but the opposition remained on that front for five years.

Congress's character as a responsible opposition remained negligible. The Congress is fighting only one battle as to who will be the leader there, who will lead. They have nothing to do with the people. The situation that the senior Congress leader has stated today is on the ground of the Congress. When the leader of the opposition inside the House was Indira Hridayesh, no one listened to her in the Congress. Outside, Pritam Singh was the president, where he was heard by someone in the party.

The condition of Congress has become such that no one listens to each other there. Kaushik says, people have lost faith in the Congress, and now there is no position of trust left. Congress is a complete failure as an opposition. Today, from the point of view of elections, BJP is going for the blessings of the people. On Harish Rawat's tweet, BJP state spokesperson Suresh Joshi said that Uttarakhand Congress is also on the path of Punjab Congress. A Captain Amarinder Singh can be born in Uttarakhand Congress also. What Harish Rawat wants to do, his central leadership does not want him to do so. Their pain is that two days ago their in-charge told that we consider Rahul Gandhi as a leader.
