As Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 2 prepares for release in a few days, the creators are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to captivate fans with back-to-back updates and promos. The creators have released an entrance clip featuring Kamal Haasan's narration, which will get you psyched to see the film. The video offers a synopsis of what happened in PS 1 and what will happen in PS 2.

Ponniyin Selvan 2's creators quickly hit Twitter and uploaded a video of the opening sequence. Ponniyin Selvan is narrated by Kamal Haasan, beginning with attacks on the Thanjavur kingdom and Nandini plots and ending with Arunmozhi Varman's death. The video reminds the viewer of what happened in the first segment and what to expect in the second. 

The star-studded group from PS 1 will return in PS 2. The cast will remain unchanged, since the sequel will pick up where the first portion left off. The Mani Ratnam-directed film features Karthi as Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyathevan, the orphaned Vana clan prince, Chiyaan Vikram as crown prince Aditya Karikalan, and Jayam Ravi as Arumozhi Varma aka Ponniyin Selvan, the future emperor. Trisha Krishnan plays princess Kundavai Devi, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays antagonist Nandini and Oomai Rani in a double role.

Ponniyin Selvan 2's production crew was in Kerala on Friday to promote the film. The creators also revealed a few pictures from the movie. The creators also provided some photos from the occasion. The squad will then travel to Hyderabad for the promotion on Sunday. Ponniyin Selvan 2 will be available in theaters globally on April 28.
