Poonam Shende is a talented young actress from Marathi film industry. She hails from Aurangabad and always wanted to be an actress. Born on 28th January in Aurangabad, she did her schooling and college from her hometown. Later, she completed her Engineering in Instrumentation from Cummins College and later did her interior designing program from the reputed college at Pune called International Fashion Design Institute. She later entered into modelling and started participating in beauty contests.
She bagged the Mrs. India World Title in 2017 to 18 which was judged by the veteran actress Zeenat Aman. She even represented India and it was a tough fight for her with 150 participants. She then got the chance to act in Marathi movies and thus got a number of films. She then entered into producing Marathi movies including Bus Stop, Matter, Swami Public and so on. Recently she produced the movie titled Jaundya Na Balasaheb, which she did with Ajay-Atul. She made news in the media with her several delightful movies.
Her upcoming movie called Nail Polish with actors like Arjun Rampal, Anand Tiwari and Manav Kaul is now making her in the news headlines. The film is going to release on 1st Jan 2021 and gave her an important role in the film. She is also coming up with her next Marathi movie called Aani Saha Patra where she is doing the leading lady’s role playing a female cop. Besides being an actress, model and a film producer, she is also an interior designer and an entrepreneur and thus wears different hats for playing different roles. She wants to touch the sky and she has the potential of doing it.
