In a recent development following the tragic attack on an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have unveiled sketches of the two suspected terrorists involved. A reward of Rs.20 lakh has been declared for any crucial information leading to their capture.

The incident occurred two days ago when a convoy of the Indian Air Force was ambushed in the Surankote area of Poonch district. The terrorists, believed to be from Pakistan, targeted the convoy's last vehicle, prompting swift retaliation from the IAF personnel. Five soldiers sustained injuries and were promptly evacuated to the command hospital for treatment.

Responding to the attack, the local unit of the Indian Army's Rashtriya Rifles swiftly cordoned off the area and initiated a thorough search operation to track down the assailants.

Tragically, Corporal Vikky Pahade, hailing from Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district, succumbed to his injuries. He had recently returned to duty after attending his sister's wedding. Vikky, who joined the IAF in 2011 to fulfill his father's aspirations, leaves behind his wife, Rina, and son, Hardik.

Expressing her grief, Vikky's sister, Geeta Pahade, called for justice for her brother, stating, "I am proud of my brother. I got to know about this (brother's demise) a day before yesterday. I want justice for my brother."

The Indian Air Force, through its official channels, paid tribute to Corporal Vikky Pahade, honoring his sacrifice and extending heartfelt condolences to his family.

Individuals possessing any information regarding the identities or whereabouts of the two suspected terrorists are urged to come forward and assist the security forces, with the promise of a substantial reward.
