Pop singer Justin Timberlake, who has won 10 Grammy Awards, has been arrested in New York on Tuesday. He is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to reports, Justin Timberlake allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test after being stopped by a police officer. Subsequently, he was arrested by the NYPD in Sag Harbor, NY, on charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Information suggests that Justin Timberlake was having dinner with friends at an American hotel on Monday night when police were reportedly stationed outside. Page Six sources revealed, "As Timberlake exited, officers stopped him for breaking traffic regulations, to which the pop star's friends were allegedly urging police to let him go."

Reportedly, Justin Timberlake underwent field sobriety tests but refused to take the breathalyzer test. Authorities stated he "performed poorly on all field sobriety tests." Police officers could reportedly smell alcohol from a distance, and the pop star's voice was reportedly slurred, with one of his legs reportedly stumbling. As a result, Justin Timberlake was arrested after midnight and charged with DWI, as well as failure to stop at a stop sign and stay in the correct lane.
