New Delhi: Taking a big step, the Indian government has banned the radical Islamist organization Popular Front of India (PFI) and 8 organizations related to it. At present, the duration of the ban (PFI ban)  has been kept at 5 years. The central government has taken this step after finding PFI involved in anti-national and illegal activities. In its order, the Modi government has termed PFI and its 8 organizations as a threat to the security of the country. While issuing a notification in this regard, it has been told that PFI was involved in anti-national activities in different parts of the country. The ministry says that the members of PFI were repeating their illegal antics.

The Home Ministry has said in its order that PFI, with the help of its affiliated organizations, used to mislead Muslim students, women, lawyers and Imams OK. In the order of the Ministry of Home Affairs, PFI has been given the name of the root and other affiliated organizations that have been banned. As per the order, the cadres of PFI show disrespect towards the constitutional structure of the country.

Offences committed by PFI:-

There are more than 1300 criminal cases registered against PFI and its members in different states. Links of PFI have also been found with international terrorist organizations. Its members (especially from Kerala) have gone to Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan to fight on behalf of the terrorist organization ISIS. From the killing of RSS workers, PFI has been directly involved in many murders in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. Only the hand of Professor Joseph was cut off by PFI only. The court has sentenced 41 cadres of PFI in the case of possession of dangerous arms and ammunition. This organization receives funding from Muslim countries and instigates the Muslim youth of the country and trains them to fight against Hindus. PFI has also opened training camps in the forests of Kerala and Telangana, in which Muslim youth are educated on terror and prepared for anti-national activities.   

PFI teaching to cut idol worshipers i.e. Hindus:-

In the raids conducted by the investigating agencies and the police, the method of making explosives has been recovered from Ahmed Baig Nadvi, who was arrested from Khadra in Lucknow. Security agencies said that it was a course to make explosives. At the beginning of this pamphlet was written a verse from the Quran, which was used for combatants during the war. The pamphlet begins with the hatred of even 'cutting off idolaters (Hindus) at sight'. Along with this, the flag of PFI and the address of the headquarters located in Delhi's Kalindi Kunj were written at the end of the leaflet along with the complete method of making explosives.  

At the same time, in the raid at Barkatullah's house in Tamil Nadu, security agencies recovered two Lawrence devices. This is a wireless set-like device. A huge amount of cash was found during raids at Shahid Khan's house in Bangalore. This cash included 500 and 2000 notes. According to security agencies, they have also recovered provocative CDs with literature related to the terrorist organization ISIS and Ghazwa-e-Hind (Establishment of Islamic rule in India). Security agencies have also told that much evidence has been destroyed by the accused as soon as the raid came to light.
