Porsche has launched two new variants of its electric car, the Macan Electric, in India. The standard variant of the Macan Electric is priced at Rs 1.22 crore, while the 4S Electric variant is priced at Rs 1.39 crore. The top-spec Turbo Electric variant is priced at Rs 1.69 crore.

The Macan Electric's entry-level variant comes with a real-wheel drive setup, while the 4S variant comes with an electronically controlled Porsche Traction Management System, which provides power to the front and rear axles five times faster than a conventional all-wheel drive system.

The Macan Electric is powered by a 100 kWh battery pack, which provides a range of 641 kilometers on a single charge. The car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 220 kmph.

Compared to the 4S variant, the RWD variant of the Macan Electric is 110 kilograms lighter, which provides better range. The car comes with a single electric motor that produces 335 bhp of power and 563 Nm of torque.

In terms of features, the Macan Electric comes with a 10.9-inch infotainment system, a 16.8-inch fully digital driver's display, and an optional passenger display. It also gets a heads-up display, 14-way electrically adjustable front seats, a heating function on all four seats and the steering wheel, wireless phone charging, four-zone AC, an air purifier, ambient lighting, and up to a 14-speaker Bose sound system.

Safety features include six airbags, adaptive cruise control, a driver drowsiness detection feature, a parking assistant with a reverse camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The Porsche Macan Electric competes with the Audi e-tron GT and the Mercedes-Benz EQS 53 in the Indian market.
