LA LOS ANGELES Recently, American model Hailey Bieber and actress-singer Selena Gomez stood together for a photo that may have looked impossible to some fans.

A few weeks after Hailey appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and refuted claims that she "stole" her husband Justin Bieber from his ex-girlfriend Gomez, the women teamed up at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' 2nd annual gala in Los Angeles, according to People magazine.

At the Los Angeles event, the two appeared to get along well because they were beaming while posing for a quick photo. Selena can be seen in two different pictures standing close to Hailey, one with her hand on her knee and the other with a big smile on her face.

The public display of sisterhood, per People, follows the former's explosive discussion on Alex Cooper's podcast in September, during which she addressed rumours of a falling out with Selena Gomez, the star of "Only Murders in the Building."

Over the years, both women have appeared to make an effort to dispel rumours of animosity between them. This time, Hailey made it clear that it is "not (her) character to meddle with someone's relationship" and that there is "all love" between her and Justin's ex-girlfriend.

Regarding the timing of her relationship with Justin, 28, to whom she has since been married for more than four years, Hailey added, as quoted by People, "I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody - that's the end of it."
