LOS ANGELES: At the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, actress Keke Palmer demonstrated her vocal prowess by singing a brief section of "Joyful, Joyful" on the red carpet.

For "Sister Act 3," Palmer said, "I'm your girl." I'm prepared. Whoopi Goldberg, the star of the nun comedy "Sister Act," has revealed her ideal cast for a hypothetical third season.

"I'm going to invite Keke. I want everyone to be in, you know. During an appearance on Comedy Central's "Hell of a Week With Charlamagne Tha God," Goldberg said, "I want Lizzo to come. She also has Nicki Minaj on her wish list.
Whoopi and I discussed it when I appeared on "The View," Palmer said. I'm here for sure, you get what I mean? Whoopi, call me, she added.

Palmer also spoke candidly about "Being Mortal," the feature directorial debut of Aziz Ansari. With approximately a month of filming left, Searchlight Pictures put the production on hold in April after a complaint regarding co-star Bill Murray's inappropriate behaviour was made.

Palmer said that she is uncertain as to whether the movie will ever be finished. She said, "If anyone could figure it out, it would be Aziz."

Obviously, we had to end the conversation at some point, but I will admit that I am really disappointed. It's a fantastic movie. If there is a way to finish it or save it, I would like to do it. Palmer avoided addressing the Murray scandal but hinted at the prospect of filming without him: "(Ansari) would definitely have to do a significant rewrite, but I know what we got was gold."
