Last year, actress Tanushree Datta sparked the MeToo movement which gained a huge momentum in India. Many film and TV personalities were accused of sexual harassment and misconduct. Senior actor Alok Nath was also accused by writer and producer Vinta Nanda who filed an FIR against him for raping her 19 years ago. Now, Alok Nath will be soon featuring in a film in which he will be seen playing a judge.

As per the report in Mumbai Mirror, Alok Nath will have a strong take on sexual harassment in the movie. However, While talking to the publication, he said revealed that she is not doing any film now. He revealed, “I’m not doing any films at the moment. This was something I shot for a while ago.”

Actor Khalid Siddiqui, who plays one of the leads along with Shawar Ali and Imran Khan in the film, said that Alok Nath will be seen playing a judge and will also give a speech condemning molestation at the end of the film. Reportedly,  the film was shot in Bhopal and is being helmed by Nasir Khan. It will feature Sonali Raut as the female lead and will also feature Mukesh Khanna and Shahbaz Khan as lawyers.

For the unversed, Vinta Nanda had accused Alok Nath of sexual harassment. In an elaborate Facebook post, Vinta had accused him of rape and repeated harassment.
