The mishap took place in the Shantipuram area of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh. According to the information given by police, 6 supporters of the Jana Sena party were trying to erect a banner when they came in contact with a live wire. The Three supporters lost their lives due to electrocution while the remaining three were injured. The deceased have been recognized as 30-year-old Somasekhar, his brother 32-year-old Rajendra and their friend 28-year-old Arunachalam.
