Trade expert Atul Mohan stated that, "This is a big film with a big star cast and the VFX looks amazing. The buzz is continuously increasing, but more awareness is needed in the Hindi belt. This could be achieved with another trailer and songs. So, it has the potential, but its true performance will be known only after its release. Unlike 'Adipurush' or 'Radhe Shyam,' there is no negativity surrounding 'Kalki 2898 AD.' The audience has not rejected it, which works in its favor.
