Actor Prabhu from the Tamil language died from cancer. The actor, who played several minor roles in Tamil films, passed away after a stage four cancer battle. D Imman, a composer of music, expressed his sympathies and verified the news of Prabhu's passing on social media. He also presided over the actor's funeral.

A government hospital was providing cancer therapy for Prabhu. He made several attempts to survive, but he was unsuccessful. Despite the medication, his condition continued to deteriorate, and he finally died. Imman stepped forward to accept the mortal remains and also carry out the final rituals after learning about Prabhu's impoverished state.

In more than 100 Tamil films, including "Padikathavan" and others, Prabhu played brief roles. He was well-known for his part as a wealthy man who appeared as a potential groom in a comic sequence in Dhanush's Padikkathavan. It is said that he was unable to receive the correct cancer treatment because he was unable to find acting work during the Covid-induced lockout.

The daughter of the late Kollywood art director Ubald, Amelia, and D. Imman married for the second time last year. Only close friends and relatives were present for the wedding. On hand for the music composer's nuptials were Sangitha and Krish, as well as famous actress-producer Kutty Padmini.
