New Delhi: BJP MP from Bhopal Pragya Singh Thakur has made a big announcement. In fact, she will address MPs online at a function organized by the Lok Sabha Secretariat on the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 21. This has been informed in an official notification. Let me tell you that thakur's lecture on 'Yoga: One Way of Life' has been listed for 12 noon in a possible programme notified by the Lok Sabha Secretariat. There are reports that before him, BJP MP from Sikar in Rajasthan Sumedhanand Saraswati is scheduled to have a session on meditation.

Pragya Thakur is accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case. In fact, during the Lok Sabha elections in May 2019, Pragya Thakur created a big controversy by making a statement that "Nathuram Godse, the Assassin of Mahatma Gandhi, was a patriot." She later apologised for it and withdrew the statement.

Following her controversial statements, he was expelled from the 21-member Parliamentary Consultative Committee on Defence Affairs and also barred from attending BJP parliamentary party meetings. In a bulletin last Friday, the Lok Sabha Secretariat informed the members of the House about the likely event on Yoga Day. As part of the information received, the event will begin at 7 am with a 50-minute session of yoga guru Amy Desai. The same other sessions will begin at 11 am.
