NFDC Short Film Contest winners announced, 'Am I' got first prize

The National Film Development Corporation organized a short movie festival based on the patriotic subject, the results of which have come. Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar announced the results and congratulated the winners.

Abhijit Paul's short film 'Am I' at this festival has been declared a winner. Debjo Sanjeev's' Ab India Banega Bharat' got second place and Yuvraj Gokul's '10 Rupees' is in third place. Apart from this, films were also selected for Special Mention Certificate. This includes include Siva Biradar's' Respect - 'A For B For', Sameer Prabhu's 'The Seed of Self Sufficiency', Puru Priyam's 'Made in India', Shivraj's 'Mind Y (Our) Business'.

The film's 'Hum Kar Sakte Hai', Pramod R's 'Kaanda Kaigalu (Unseen Hands)', Ram Kishore's 'Soldier' and Rajesh B's 'Atma Vandan for Nation' are included. All these movies are based on the theme of patriotic and self-reliant India. An award of Rs1 lakh was announced to the winner who came first, Rs 50 thousand for the second place and Rs 25 thousand for the third place. NFDC received over 800 entries for this competition. The winners have been honoured with cheque prices.
