New Delhi: The big ministers of the central government have to deal with questions related to the slowdown in the economy everywhere these days. The ministers of the government either deny any slowdown in the country, or else blame it for external factors. In this link, Union Minister for Forest and Environment, Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar said that the government is constantly taking steps regarding the country's economy. He said that the bank loans will be cheaper by the Reserve Bank of India for the fifth consecutive time the repo rate is reduced.

Javadekar said that to save the Indian economy from the global economic downturn, to give it more momentum, the Modi government has taken 110 decisions in 15 cabinet meetings held in the last four months. During the tenure of the Modi government, growth has accelerated and inflation has come down. On the other hand, it was the opposite in the SP-BSP-backed Congress government. By reducing the corporate tax by 22 percent and the minimum alternative tax (MAT) by 15 percent, the Modi government has made India the most attractive investment destination.

In the Congress government, the Ministry of Environment was known to stop development and industries. Earlier, it used to take 640 days on an average for issuing environmental clearance for development projects, whereas in the Modi government this approval is being given in 108 days without relaxing the environmental norms. He said that business and employment will increase due to the reduction in GST rates, merger of banks and bold decisions to provide capital to them. Let us tell you that the government is constantly on the target of opposition due to the decline in the economy.
