New Delhi: The agitation of farmers' organizations against the new agricultural laws brought by the central government continues even on the 75th day. Meanwhile, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has targeted an old tweet by veteran Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor. Javadekar shared the 2010 tweet of Shashi Tharoor, tweeting back at the Congress.

Javadekar wrote, 'One more disclosure of the Congress' hypocrisy on the new agricultural law of the center. Here's a tweet by Shashi Tharoor in 2010 and now Congress thinks the opposite.' It is notable that Shashi Tharoor tweeted on 23 January 2010, writing, 'It seems that we waste more wheat every year and storage causes damage to distribution. There is a real need for the orient sector to move intra grain storage.'

Earlier, Shashi Tharoor tweeted with his official handle that it was shameful for the Indian government to retaliate from the Indian personalities to Western celebrities. The damage that has been done to the global image of India by the stubborn and untoward behavior of the Government of India cannot be compensated by the tweet of the cricketers. In fact, the Indian government has reacted strongly to the support of the peasant movement by international figures such as pop singer Rihanna and environmental activist Greta Thunberg. Many Bollywood actors, cricketers, and union ministers have expressed their support for the government's stand.
