Recently, he said, "Whatever seats the BJP wins in West Bengal will win because of the Election Commission.'' Talking to a website, Prashant Kishore said, "Despite our victory, I want to point out on record that the Election Commission has acted as an extended branch of the BJP. The reason for the important seats BJP has got is the systemic support provided by the Election Commission. All political parties should speak against it.?

The ruling Trinamool Congress seems to be regaining power in the West Bengal assembly elections. According to the latest data available for the same assembly elections, TMC is leading in 202 seats while BJP is leading in 77 seats in trends available for 284 seats in 292 assembly seats in West Bengal. In fact, party strategist Prashant Kishor has lashed out at the BJP in the state as it looks to the ruling Trinamool's clear majority. Recently, he said, "BJP leaders held 40 rallies but that did not mean that TMC would lose.''
