Kolkata: Election strategist Prashant Kishore's first statement has surfaced after the Trinamool Congress (TMC) double century in the trends in West Bengal assembly elections. The Election Commission said it had anticipated that the BJP would be reduced to about 80 seats. Prashant has also attacked the Election Commission and accused it of favoritism.

PK said, "The BJP has been able to come to such a situation due to favoritism on the part of the Election Commission. It would not have happened if the Commission had acted impartially. The Commission had worked to support the BJP through its system. It was because of that that the elections were held in more and more phases. This election could have been held only for 10 or 15 days, but two months were taken.''

Talking to a news channel, Prashant Kishor said, "I am happy that the issues of polarisation have not worked in the state. It is clear that there is a limit to polarisation and shows how many votes can go to the BJP camp.'' Clearly, you cannot win elections only on the basis of polarisation. Prashant Kishore said Mamata Banerjee had received a notice on her appeal to Muslims to vote unitedly. If that is the case, then every BJP leader should have got a notice.
