Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has given a big statement while countering the allegation of election strategist Prashant Kishor. Chief Minister Nitish has accused Prashant Kishor of working for the BJP. He also said that Prashant Kishor had advised him to merge the Janata Dal-United with the Congress. Nitish Kumar also rejected Prashant Kishor's claim that he wanted to make him his successor and had also offered it.

Talking to reporters, Chief Minister Nitish said, "Prashant Kishor is working for the BJP. I was also advised to merge JD(U) with Congress. They wanted the JD(U) to merge with Congress.'' On Prashant Kishor's allegation that Nitish Kumar wanted to make him a successor, Chief Minister Nitish said, "Prashant Kishor keeps speaking anything, is assisting the BJP. Prashant Kishor was not called by me but he himself came. I have not given any offers to him.''

Let me tell you that recently Prashant Kishor while addressing the public during Jan Suraj Yatra, had claimed that Nitish Kumar had offered him to become his successor during the meeting, but I refused because I do not want to be anyone's successor. What we have promised to the people of Bihar has to be fulfilled. In a program of interaction with the local people at the Jan Suraj padyatra camp in Jamuniya, West Champaran, he said in a stern tone, 10-15 days ago the news came in the media. Nitish ji had called to his house and said, hey brother, you are our heir. Why are you doing all this? Come join us, be the leader of our party.
