Patna: Prashant Kishore, former national vice president and electoral strategist of Janata Dal-United (JDU), has praised Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. Prashant Kishore has said that he thanks Nitish Kumar for remaining on his stand at NRC-NPR. However, Prashant has also said that there are some issues related to the interest and social harmony of Bihar on which the CM needs to work more.
The Bihar Legislative Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution against the NRC-NPR. With this, Nitish Kumar has announced that NRC will not be implemented in Bihar. CM Nitish has written to the Modi government of the Center to remove the allegedly disputed provisions of NPR. CM Nitish said that the Bihar government has written to the central government to remove some controversial provisions from the NPR form.
After this, Prashant Kishore praised the Bihar government's move. Prashant Kishore has tweeted that, "Thank you @NitishKumar ji for sticking to your point on NPR-NRC. But there are bigger issues ahead which are related to the interest of Bihar and social harmony around us, we only hope You can make yourself aware of your inner voice and stand firm on both these issues.
