Lucknow: The problems of Bahubali MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya from Kunda assembly seat in Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh are once again seen to be increasing. In the case of obtaining an arms licence at the fake address of his close MLC Akshay Pratap Singh alias Gopal ji, the DJ court has cancelled his bail and issued a non-bailable warrant. The court also asked the guarantors to issue notices.

MLC Akshay Pratap obtained an arms licence at the address of Nagar Kotwali Civil Lines in 1997, in which the then city kotwal DP Shukla had registered a case declaring the address as fake, after which a charge sheet was filed. On March 15, 2022, an MP/MLA court convicted Akshay Pratap in the arms licence case at a fake address. The court had on March 22 reserved the verdict to pronounce the sentence. Delivering the final verdict after the hearing on March 23, the court had sentenced the accused to seven years in jail and a fine of Rs 10,000 and had to go to the district jail.

He challenged the MP/MLA court's decision in the district court. The district judge had stayed the sentence and ordered the release of the accused immediately. After which, on March 24, Akshay came out of the jail. In this case, Akshay was supposed to appear before the district judge's court on April 20, but his lawyer submitted an apology in the court and on April 22, he did not reach the court. This time, while rejecting the lawyer's apology, the court cancelled his bail and ordered the issuance of a non-bailable warrant against him.
