When Pratha sees a burned body by the side of the road, she stops her car, and the most recent episode begins. She makes a police report and goes back to Gujral Mansion, where Anmol tells her that Manav left the altar by claiming he couldn't wed an orphan. A reluctant Pratha makes the request for her own daughter to visit and stay with them in the mansion while comforting Prarthana. Prarthana consents because she believes doing so will allow her to maintain her relationship with her adversaries, who she believes are responsible for the death of her father, Jeet.

Later, Pratha and Anmol pack up all of Prarthana's belongings so she can move into the Gujral Mansion, but Prarthana isn't sure if Pratha is really her mother. Prarthana suddenly loses control of Jeet's picture, and Rudra seizes it, urging Prarthana to maintain her positive attitude while she views him as a hypocrite who murdered her father.

Holding the hands of her two daughters, Pratha enters Gujral Mansion. Prarthana is given a tour of Anmol's room and told that she is welcome to stay there. Vanya and Anya, cousins of Anmol, and their husbands show up later.

After doing some research on naag and naagin, Rishabh discovers that he was in fact attacked by a naagin who is also defending the ancient Shiva temple from the anti-nationals of Bharat. Rishabh eventually finds out about Naag Mahal.

The next day, all the women observe the Karva Chauth fast, and somehow, throughout the event, Rudra cannot take his eyes off Prarthana. Later, Rudra continues to follow Rishabh as he makes his way to the Naag Mahal. Anmol calls Rudra to find out where he is and learns that he is headed to the Nilgiri. Anmol decides with her friends that she will travel in the same direction as Rudra. As Prarthana follows Rishabh to the Shiva temple and prepares to retaliate against him in serpent form, Rishabh abruptly turns around and notices a large snake in his rear-view mirror.
