She gained popularity from the superhit television show Balika Vadhu. After this she appeared in shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Bigg Boss 7, Comedy Classes and Sasural Simar Ka. His professional career was going well. But suddenly the news of his suicide surprised everyone. On April 1, 2016, she committed suicide by hanging. But Pratyusha's family suspects her suicide and this is the reason the actress's family has been hoping for justice for the last 4 years.
