New Delhi: There are 10 teams in the fray this season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022), due to which cricket lovers from India as well as around the world are once again enjoying this fast-paced competition. One of the many skilled bowlers who has come to the great season of quick cricket is also one of the bowlers, who played his last IPL match 5 years ago, but his record is still intact. This bowler is none other than former Team India bowler Praveen Kumar.

Bowler Praveen Kumar, who has played for 5 IPL teams, played his last IPL match for the Gujarat Lions team. The charisma of his bowling is that he has bowled the most maiden overs in the history of IPL. The special thing is that no bowler has been able to break this record of Praveen Kumar to date, while Praveen himself has not been playing the IPL for 5 years. Praveen believes that cricket is a game of complete uncertainties, in which there is always the possibility of turning the dice. He said this through the indigenous social media platform, Koo.

In the first two seasons of the IPL, Praveen Kumar played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). During this time, he also took a hat-trick against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the year 2010. He was the seventh bowler of the IPL to do so. Between 2011 and 2013, he also played for Kings XI Punjab. In this way, Praveen has bowled 14 overs of maidens in the IPL from 2008 to 2017 while playing for four teams i.e. Kings XI Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Lions and RCB. After him, the name Irfan Pathan is on this list, He has bowled 9 overs of maidens and he has also not been playing the IPL for a long time. In this way, this record of Praveen Kumar has not been broken to date. At the same time, if we talk about his IPL career, then in 119 matches, Praveen Kumar has taken 90 wickets.
