NEW DELHI: A prayer meeting for former External Affairs Minister and veteran BJP leader Sushma Swaraj was held in the national capital on Friday. Family members, friends and well-wishers paid homage to Sushma Swaraj at the prayer meeting. Sushma Swaraj's daughter BansuriSwaraj, who was present at the prayer meeting, recalled her mother saying, "I am blessed to be her daughter.

At the prayer meeting, Bansuri said, "Many people have felt their love, so I know that people here are not just to share our pain, but also to realize it. Referring to her mother Sushma Swaraj, Flute Swaraj said that Sushma Swaraj was brave enough to roar like a lioness in Parliament and had a laughing stock on her face like an innocent five-year-old child. Their absence will not be forgotten over time. I am blessed that I am his daughter.

Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday night due to cardiac arrest. He was cremated with full state honours on Wednesday evening. Besides PM Narendra Modi and other senior leaders, family, friends and fans also paid homage to former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
