NEW DELHI: Indian Navy has been put on high alert in the wake of a possible terror attack by Pakistan by sea since the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Ships and aircraft are on 24-hour alert to prevent any untoward incident, such as the Mumbai attack on both the eastern and western waters.

In Jaisalmer also, BSF and Indian Air Force have been put on high alert in the western border. In fact, there is chances that the Mujahideen battalion from Pakistan may infiltrate into the Indian territory. The situation along the rajasthan and Punjab border is also tense after the removal of Section 370 in Kashmir. Additional paramilitary forces have been deployed for internal security along the border. An operation alert has been issued by the BSF along the border with Rajasthan.

Operational preparedness with additional monitoring has also been strengthened. The fighter jets have been alerted from an airbase adjacent to the western border. In fact, Pakistan's outburst has been consistent since Section 370 was over. Pakistan has also stopped bus services from Lahore to New Delhi. It has also blocked the ongoing agreement between the two countries and the Thar Express.
