A shocking incident of assaulting female guards comes to light. In Bihar’s Hajipur. Police have arrested a man for allegedly molesting a female guard outside a hospital. The accused had reached the hospital with his pregnant wife for her delivery.

The incident took place at Sadar hospital in Hajipur where the accused, identified as Pratik, had taken his pregnant wife to the hospital for delivery. His pregnant wife was admitted to a ward, the accused was roaming outside the hospital and he molested the female guard standing there.

According to the information, The woman posted on security outside the hospital said that the accused, trying to flirt with her. He said that he was a sweet shop owner and was forcing her to eat sweets. The woman resisted and raised an alarm after sensing trouble. The accused also tried to flee the spot but was caught by the hospital staff. The civil surgeon of the hospital reached the spot and called the police. A case is registered against him for molesting female guard. The accused has been arrested and further investigation was going into the matter.

The instances of crime against women in hospital campus is increasing day by day. In April a pregnant woman was allegedly molested by a male nurse. The incident took place at Government Area Hospital at Bhadrachalam. 60-year-old Lal Khan, a Male Nursing Orderly (MNO) believed to have attended the duty in the hospital in an inebriated state and allegedly molested a pregnant woman during the operation on April 27. However, the incident came to light lately following which the hospital officials suspended him.
