Recently, a case of crime has come to light from Rajasthan. In the case, a pregnant Dalit girl was gang-raped in Banswara district of Rajasthan and her eight-week-old fetus also died after the rape. After that, her boyfriend also committed suicide and the girl was devastated. The case is said to have come to light when four of the 5 accused were arrested and produced before the court on Monday.
The incident is being described as a village in Malbasti in Sadar police station area of Basanwada. According to a report, CO Parvati Lal said, "At 10 a.m. on the night of July 13-14, bike rider Prabhu alias Bapuda was going with his 20-year-old girlfriend. Three youths Sunil, Jitendra and Vikas stopped the Lord on the way and attacked him with a sword. On the other hand, he beat up the Lord and snatched his mobile. The three accused then took the young woman to a deserted area and raped her. He later invited two other friends Vijay and Pappu Gurjar. The five accused then drank alcohol there and Vijay and Pappu Gurjar also raped the girl. The girl's boyfriend could not save her, so she allegedly committed suicide that night on the way from a neem tree.
Parvati Lal further said that "on the information of the villagers on 14th July, the police handed over the body of the young man to the family after the postmortem." The filing was initiated.
