An embarrassing case has been heard in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The daughter-in-law was tortured to have a physical relationship with the brother-in-law. When the woman refuses, she is shot and killed. The woman was pregnant. Her husband was in jail for two days in another case, when the incident happened. The mother-in-law has also been convicted in the entire case. The mother-in-law has been detained along with the brother-in-law. An investigation has been conducted on the complaint of the girl's father. According to the information received from the police, at 11 am in the police station, a woman was shot dead in the local Ravidas Nagar. Police officers rushed to the spot and started the action.

The deceased's name is Pallavi Chhapra, who was married to Anshul Chhabra in March last year. Anshul has been in jail for two days in another case. Pallavi's father Hemraj Midha has first filed a complaint at Anupgarh police station of ward number 26, but the case has been transferred to the nearby women's police station due to the crime related to the woman. By the time police reached the spot, the girl's father and other relatives have been taken to the nearest hospital. Where he has been declared dead. The post-mortem took place after the police arrived.

The father of the deceased told the police that the mother-in-law was pressurizing the daughter-in-law to have a physical relationship with her younger son. It had started just after marriage. Actually, the head of the family dies just after marriage. The mother-in-law and other relatives blame the new daughter-in-law for this and start harassing her. After this, the family started demanding dowry and started torturing the daughter-in-law. Even after five months of pregnancy, they used to bother him.

The father of the deceased also told the police that the conspiracy for this murder had already been hatched, including a neighbor of the accused family. The night before the incident, the deceased called the family saying that he was being held hostage and tortured and the morning news of his death came.
