US prosecutors have demanded President Stone Trump's longtime close aide Roger Stone be sentenced to nine years in prison for lying to Parliament. Stone himself accused the allegations of being politically motivated, while prosecutors said Stone lied and threatened witnesses to save Trump. When Stone was convicted in November last, Trump said in a tweet, "I have never seen such a double standard in my country's history."
