Patna: NDA's presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu today arrived in Bihar's capital Patna to seek their support in the upcoming presidential elections. CM Nitish Kumar, Deputy CMs Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi, Union Ministers Nityanand Rai, State BJP Chief Sanjay Jaiswal and other State Ministers received her at Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport. Former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi was also present at the airport. The airport premises were decorated with flowers, while BJP workers gathered on the streets outside with party flags to welcome her. Draupadi Murmu will meet MPs and MLAs at the Maurya Hotel itself.
Let us tell you that the election for the post of president will be held on July 18 and the counting will be held on July 21. A dance programme of men and women of tribal tribes was organized to welcome presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu. They have been specifically called from Bagha. Draupadi Murmu reached Ranchi on Monday, July 4. After reaching Ranchi, she reached the residence of former Jharkhand CM and JMM chief Shibu Soren. Where she sought support for the upcoming presidential election. Shibu Soren also welcomed Murmu with a bouquet due to this. Draupadi Murmu was accompanied by BJP state president Deepak Prakash and Union Ministers Arjun Meghwal, Arjun Munda and Annapurna Devi during the meeting with the JMM supremo. CM Hemant Soren was also present at the meeting.
