Paris: To ensure that Ukraine can survive this winter, the President said the international community should intensify its efforts.
Macron also stressed the importance of maintaining communication with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Macron, despite not taking sides in the conflict, we support Ukraine with military, economic and humanitarian assistance. Additionally, we need to provide anti-missile and other defense systems to extend this support.
From its military stockpile, France has already given Ukraine 18 self-propelled 155 mm caliber artillery units called Caesars. French media reported in September that France would also provide Ukraine with self-propelled 155-mm TRF1 guns, which are no longer in service with the French armed forces.

Additionally, Macron said in October that France and Denmark were collaborating to provide Ukraine with six more Caesar howitzers.

Western countries have been providing financial, military and humanitarian aid to Kyiv since Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24. Moscow has criticized the transfer of arms to Ukraine from its Western allies, claiming it only fuels conflict.
"The mission of France is to use diplomacy as effectively as possible. Talking to those with whom we disagree is another aspect of diplomacy," said the French President.
