Sambalpur: Droupadi Murmu, the President of India, sets to start her momentous visit to Odisha today, marking a significant event anticipated by many. The announcement was made by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday, who expressed the details of her itinerary during her stay in the state.

The President's schedule is packed with notable engagements, starting with the auspicious laying of the foundation stone for the Central Government's Eklavya School. Following this inaugural event, she is slated to visit her native village, a touching moment expected to resonate deeply with the local community.

Further enhancing the trip's significance, the senior BJP leader informed that President Murmu is scheduled to initiate the groundwork for several developmental projects in Odisha on Tuesday. These actions underline the commitment to bolstering the state's progress and welfare.

A recently issued official press release outlined President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, spanning from November 20 to 22. The schedule is meticulously planned, encompassing a series of events that highlight the President's involvement in various sectors.

Her agenda for November 20 includes attendance at the inaugural session of the 36th Annual Conference and Literary Festival of All India Santali Writers' Association in Baripada. The following day, she will inaugurate a Skill Training Centre in Pahadpur village and participate in significant inaugurations and foundation stone laying ceremonies at Badampahar Railway station, symbolizing advancements in infrastructure.

November 21 is packed with multiple engagements, including the flagging off of three new trains, inauguration of the new Rairangpur Postal Division, and attendance at the 15th annual convocation of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology in Burla.

Continuing her impactful journey, on November 22, President Murmu is set to launch the National Education Campaign - New Education for New India in Sambalpur, an initiative organized by Brahma Kumaris. Later, she will grace the 42nd convocation of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in Puttaparthi, concluding her visit on a high note.

The President's visit stands as a testament to her dedication towards fostering development and education, reflecting a commitment to uplifting communities and supporting progress across various sectors.
