Lucknow: President Ram Nath Kovind along with his wife and the country's first woman citizen Savita Kovind, and daughter Swati Kovind, arrived at Gorakhpur airport in Uttar Pradesh at 12.35 pm on Saturday. He was accompanied by state Governor Anandiben Patel. CM Yogi Adityanath gave a warm welcome to the President and his family at the airport.

President Ram Nath Kovind's convoy reached circuit house from Gorakhpur airport. After resting there, he will attend the centenary year celebrations of Gita Press at 4.45 pm. President Ram Nath Kovind will leave for the Gorakhnath temple after attending the Gita Press programme for about an hour. After having a glimpse of Guru Gorakhnath at Gorak Nath temple, President Ram Nath Kovind will participate in the 'High Tea Party' along with some dignitaries of the city.

From here, the President will reach the Circuit House at 7.15 pm. After 10 minutes of rest, Ramgarh will take a boating tour on the banks of the pond. The president will watch the light and sound show with 100 children there. After the night break of the circuit house, he will leave for Maghar at 8.30 am on Sunday.
