Priest detained for abducting woman
tyle="text-align:justify">A priest was detained for allegedly abducting a woman by him in January was rescued. Abductor identified as Premchand Goswami (27), was detained yesterday from Barla village under Chapar police station in the district, police said.
According to an FIR lodged by her family members, the 22-year-old woman was abducted by Goswami from near a bus stand in the village on January 9 last.
The woman, who was found pregnant, was sent for medical examination, police said.
