New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has reached Jamburi Maidan in Bhopal to attend the 'Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas' celebrations on the birth anniversary of Tribal Freedom Fighter Birsa Munda. Here tribal artists welcomed him with traditional dance. Earlier, several BJP leaders, including CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Governor Mangubhai Patel welcomed him at the state hangar. They can make many big announcements for the tribes. After which he is going to dedicate Rani Kamalapati Railway Station (Habibganj) developed for Rs 100 crore on PPP model. PM Modi is scheduled to stay in Bhopal for about 3 hours and 50 minutes.

About 2 lakh tribals from all over the state have attended the event. They came to Jamburi Maidan dancing to the Drum and trumpet beats. MP Sumer Singh Solanki is in traditional attire. PM, Modi addresses tribal.

The reason for the PM visit is that all shops around the Rani Kamalapati railway station have been closed. The road ahead of Habibganj underbridge has also been blocked. The route from Govindpura Bhel to Awadhpuri Chowk and the board office to the Rani Kamalapati station has been completely blocked. Rani Kamalapati (Habibganj) railway station is also under tight security. The routes of the buses were changed, causing inconvenience to the passengers. Auto drivers are charging double fare. Most of the people are walking.
