In fact, PM Narendra Modi had met all the players participating in the Tokyo Olympics at his residence on August 16. Because of this, he had encouraged all the players by interacting with them. During the meeting, the Prime Minister was seen felicitating the athletes for their outstanding performance. PM Modi also broke fast with everyone before honoring the players and kept his promise to eat ice cream with PV Sindhu.
