New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the new Parliament House on 28 May. But, now the controversy has started regarding this program of PM Modi. Former National President of Congress Rahul Gandhi has said that the President should inaugurate the new Parliament House, not the Prime Minister.

In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi wrote that the new Parliament House should be inaugurated by the President and not by the PM. Similarly, RJD leader Manoj Jha insisted that shouldn't the Honorable Rashtrapati Bhavan inaugurate the new Parliament House? I leave this debate here, Jai Hind. At the same time, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said in this matter that the Prime Minister is the head of the executive and not of the legislature. The distribution of power is clear here, in such a situation the new Parliament House should be inaugurated by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Speaker of the Rajya Sabha. It has been made with public money, why is the Prime Minister pretending that his friends sponsored it.

Not only this, CPI leader D Raja has also attacked PM Modi. According to him, the Prime Minister is only engaged in polishing his image. He said that infatuation with one's own image is common when it comes to PM Modi. It should not be forgotten that the Prime Minister comes in the executive, while the Parliament is a legislative organ. It would have been better if Draupadi Murmu had inaugurated it. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has directly called it an insult to the Constitution. He said that you have completely ignored Gandhi, Nehru, Patel and Bose.
