As per the rituals of Christianity, Christening or Baptism is a ceremony that follows the naming of a child and his or her adoption to Christianity.

Recently, the third baby of Prince William and his Wife, Kate Middleton, who have been titled as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was Baptised in a low-key affair.
The rituals were performed at The Chapel Royal isituated in the St. James's Palace.
Well, sources informed that as per the guest list released by the Kingsten Palace the great grandparents of the new born child, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip did not show up for his Christening ceremony. The Ceremony took place on the afternoon of Monday.
The ceremony was attended by almost all the members of the Royal family, including the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
The son of Kate Middleton and Williams, Prince Louis was born on the 23rd of  April. THe couple already has a 4 years old son, Prince George and a 3 years old daughter, Princess Charlotte.
As per the information recvealed by the Kensington Palace, Prince Louis was made to wear a handmade replica of the robe, which was made in the year 1841 and was worn by the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria.

Post the ceremony, all the guests were invited to the Clarence house to a private tea.
